The Chapter

The Sheridan's Cavalry Chapter was re-chartered in 2003.  This Chapter was originally chartered as the Chicago Metro Chapter in 1998 and was renamed when the Chapter was re-chartered.

Meeting dates for 2008 are still being determined.  Meetings are held at 1300 hours in the American Legion Hall located at 344 E. Maple Avenue in Roselle, IL.  Their phone number is (630) 894-8524.  

The Chapter has provided support to deployed Troopers continuously since the First Team deployed in 2004 and recently provided twenty Commissary Gift Certificates to assist First Team families at Fort Hood.  The Chapter's Public Relations representative is Allen Lynch, 12th CAV, alynch5035@aol.com.  The Chapter assisted the Kettle Moraine Chapter in hosting the 2002 Annual Reunion of the 1st Cavalry Division Association in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
