Life Membership
Application Eligibility and Benefits Anyone who has ever been assigned or attached to the 1st Cavalry Division at any time is eligible for Life membership in the 1st Cavalry Division Association. If you meet the above criteria, your membership in the 1st Cavalry Division Association will allow you to preserve and strengthen friendships through our annual reunions, chapter activities, and our bi-monthly newspaper, SABER. By participating in Association activities, you can meet old friends that you may have lost contact with and meet new people and make new friendships. Joining the
Association provides you with tangible evidence of membership in this
great fraternity, i.e., lapel pin, membership card and certificate,
decals, yearly calendar, and a one-year subscription to the
SABER.
The
1st Cavalry Division Association USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® is now
available to members of the 1st Cavalry Division Association.
USAA Bank is now the exclusive provider of credit card services for
members of the 1st Cavalry Division Association. Additionally, you will be able to
help the Association with the Trooper Support Program, the Scholarship Foundation
and our Museum
Foundation. We share a
great Division heritage--horse cavalry through ground and airmobile
infantry to armor. Those who are serving or have served with the First Team may click on the Life Membership Application link above to download an application. Print and mail the completed form and your $10 check or money order to the 1st Cavalry Division Association, 302 N. Main St., Copperas Cove, TX 76522-1703. |

Associate Membership
Application Eligibility and Benefits Friends of the Cavalry who have never served a day with the 1st Cavalry Division may join the Association as Associate members. An Associate member is a non-voting, non-office holding membership offered to friends of the 1st Cavalry Division and its Association who do not meet the eligibility requirements for regular membership, i.e., they have not been previously or currently assigned or attached to the 1st Cavalry Division. There are two types of Associate membership, a Lifetime Membership (one-time fee of $150) or an Annual Membership ($15 per year. Those living in an overseas area must pay an additional $10 due to postage fees. Lifetime Associate Membership provides you with a framed certificate of membership, membership card, lapel pin and a five-year subscription to the SABER newspaper. Annual Associate Membership provides you with a membership card, a membership certificate, a lapel pin, and a one-year subscription to the SABER. The 1st Cavalry Division Association USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® is now available to members of the 1st Cavalry Division Association. USAA Bank is now the exclusive provider of credit card services for members of the 1st Cavalry Division Association. Associate members have the privilege of attending all reunions and other outings held by the National Headquarters of the Association and share in the pride of affiliation with the veterans of service with the First Team.
