The Chapter

The Jumping Mustangs Chapter was chartered in 1988 and is open to any veteran of the 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) who served in Vietnam.  The Chapter meets during their annual reunion each year.

The Chapter meets annually during their reunion.  The 2010 reunion is Washington, DC from 2-5 September and will be held in the Holiday Inn Rosslyn.  Information is available at the Jumping Mustangs web page located at http://www.jumpingmustangs.com/ or you may contact James Knafel for information. 

Those attending reunions range in rank from private to general and next-of-kin of those that died in Vietnam are welcome to attend.  Each reunion includes a Memorial Dinner to honor our fallen.  The reunion location changes each year to allow those that are not able to travel the opportunity to attend a reunion that is geographically closer to them.
