The Chapter

The Connecticut Chapter was chartered in 1989.

The Chapter meeting information is provided to members in our newsletter, SABER, and is published on our web page at http://www.conncav.com .   Our Chapter has submitted paperwork to bid on hosting the 2014 reunion.

The Chapter recently donated food and served returning troops at Camp Rell in Niantic, Connecticut.  It was a three day even and we served over 600 grilled hot dogs, pumpkin pie and lots of fixens.  Welcome Home!

The Chapter Color Guard is led by Bill Pomeroy (860) 649-1909. 

The Chapter has jackets available for members.  Jackets are $94 each with 2X and larger $3 more.  We also have T-shirts available for $10 in sizes L, XL, XXL.  For more information on the jackets contact Keith Morin, our Secretary, by phone or e-mail.  We sponsor a Little League Baseball Team in the Ellington Little League Program.  They came in 2nd Place this year and had great fun.  Go First Team L.L! 

Bob Waz grills hotdogs for Troopers returning from Afghanistan.  He and Steve Carter were our grill masters.
