The 1st Cavalry Division Association currently has 26 local or regional chapters in 21 different states and the District of Columbia.  It also has 3 unit oriented chapters that are chartered and active.

The 1st Cavalry Division Association strongly encourages and actively supports the formation of local, regional, and unit oriented Chapters to provide opportunities for camaraderie and to provide additional services to members which supports the purpose and objectives of the Association.  If there is no active chapter in your area and you are interested in forming a local chapter please contact the Association Headquarters.

Chapters are organized by members in good standing in the 1st Cavalry Division Association.  They adopt articles and constitutions that are consistent with the purpose and objectives of the Association and its constitution and by-laws.  The Chapters Charter must be approved by the Association's Board of Governors and all Chapters must provide a list of Chapter officers, members and a cash flow statement annually to the Association National Headquarters.

Each of our Chapters is a separate organization and when they meet, how often they meet and how they conduct their meetings vary.  Some cover a wide geographical area and others are more localized.  Unit oriented Chapters have members from all over and either meet in separate reunions or join with the rest of the Association at our annual reunion.

While some of our Chapters have their own web page, not all of them do.  We have provided Chapter web pages for all of our Chapters.  These provide some basic facts on these Chapters and provide you with information concerning their location, meetings, officers, and activities.  If they have a web page that they maintain, there will be a link to that web page.

This page is a work in progress and will be updated on a regular basis if the Chapters provide us updates or changes.

If there is no Chapter of the 1st Cavalry Division Association in your area and you are interested in forming one, contact the Association at firstcav@1cda.org or call (254) 547-6537 for details and assistance.

It's our team, it's a great team, it's the FIRST TEAM!
