The Chapter meets on a quarterly basis.  Locations change each time to different areas of the state.  Contact us for information on the other upcoming meetings.   Please visit our web page at www.whw-northland1cda.org for information on the Chapter and the upcoming reunion of the 1st Cavalry Division Association that we are hostingf rom 2-6 June 2010 in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Robert Levy is the Chapter's Public Relations Advisor and can be reached at 122 Tamarack Court, Stillwater, MN 55082 or by phone at (651) 439-3083.

The Chapter publishes a newsletter, The Horse Soldier, that published four times a year and is sent to all active Chapter members that contains information of interest.  The Chapter has worked hard providing support to the Soldiers and families of deployed Troopers by sending Grocery Gift Cards to the Family Assistance  Specialists working with the Minnesota Army National Guard.  The Chapter was recognized by the Minnesota Army National Guard for this program and has spent over $7,000 on this program.  Money for the gift cards has come strictly from donations.  If you wish to support this program, make the check payable to WHW Northland Chapter and mail to the WHW Northland Chapter, c/o Jim Wright, 12781 Able St. NE, Blaine, MN 55434.  Please put "Special Fund" in the memo section of the check.

Walt Westman, born 4 February 1910, celebrates his 100th birthday.
