The Chapter
The North Carolina Tarheel Chapter was chartered in 1992 and is a state-wide Chapter.
The Chapter meets on the second Saturday of March, June, September and December at different locations throughout the state of North Carolina. The December meeting will be held in Mooresville on 11 December, 2010.
The Chapter has four Regional
Vice Presidents. They are:
Thomas Blankenship, Troy
Clifton Haskins, Raleigh
Johnnie
Price, Williamston
Richard Speas, Rural Hall
The Chapter provides support for the deployed Troopers of the Division and has made donations to the Division Memorial and the Foundation of the 1st Cavalry Division Association to provide scholarships for the children of fallen Troopers. The Chapter hosted the highly successful and well attended 53rd Annual Reunion of the 1st Cavalry Division Association in Fayetteville in 2000.
