The Chapter
The Crossed Sabers Chapter was chartered in 1971.
The Chapter leadership meets at 1300 on the 4th Monday of every month at the 1st Cavalry Division Museum. The Chapter is conducting Quarterly Stable Call meetings outside the Museum.
The Chapter includes Association members who are currently assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division and other Association members in the Fort Hood area. It has hosted every Association Reunion that has been held at Killeen/Fort Hood. The Crossed Sabers Chapter is the sponsor of the Crossed Sabers Chapter Souvenir Shop that is located in the 1st Cavalry Division Museum on Fort Hood, Texas. Proceeds from the Crossed Sabers Souvenir Shop benefit the 1st Cavalry Division Museum, the 1st Cavalry Division Association and the two foundations.
